Montreal is the second largest city in Canada with a population of almost 2 million people. Once the commercial capital of Canadabefore been surpassed by Toronto, Montreal is rich commerce, aerospace, transport, finance, pharmaceuticals, technology, design, education, art, culture, food, fashion, gaming, film and most notably Tourist attraction (Tourism).

Montreal Ensures plenty of entertainment and tourist attraction in form of; Museums, landmark, nightlife (with night clubbing of the highest quality), shopping and historic Structures. Being a bilingual city that doesn’t have only English as it common language, with immigrants from all walks of life such as French, Spanish, Scottish, Chinese, Indian, Arabic, Haitian, Portuguese, Indian Filipino, Greek and many more also makes Montreal popular for tourist attraction. Also, the various culture makes it easy and accessible for a tourist to feel almost at home in the city, and there also exists various musical, fashion, and arts festival that are based on the various cultures in the city, these festivals are diverse and also uniquely organized.

Montreal Tourist attractions include ;

Quebec City and Montmorency Falls

Enjoy a full day trip on a sightseeing tour of the beautiful Quebeccity and its terrains on a train ride. Places of visit along the route includes UNESCO-listed Old Québec, Place Royale and the Plains of Abraham, before finally experiencing the elegant Montmorency Falls at the country side.

Laurentian Mountains

The laurentian mountains can also be visited from Montreal, however there are also places attractions that can be relived before eventually getting to the laurentian mountain ; Mont Tremblant that is popular for its skiing resort, and there are also beautiful towns like Saint-Sauveur, Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard along whose elegance and glamour can be experienced along the laurentian routes. A stroll along the streets of these towns, and a visit to their restaurants to have a taste of their delicacies can be enjoyed before finally arriving at the breathtaking mountain range.

Old Montreal

Here, you’ll mingle with Montrealers at sidewalk cafes while overlooking the river, or enjoy the summertime street performers at Place Jacques-Cartier.This is also a popular shopping area (despite the kitschy souvenir shops), and numerous bars and clubs bring Vieux-Montréal to life come sundown. This Montreal Tourist attraction is with any doubt the first attraction for Tourists and Locals as well. Recent visitors said this area is a must for strolling, eating and experiencing the history of Montreal.

Montreal Botanical Gardens

This is located at the northern Plateau Mont-Royal in ParcMaisonneuve (accessible via the Green Line’s Station Pie-IX metro station), the greenhouse botanical gardens are always open every day at 9 a.m. and remain open until around 6 p.m., depending on the time of year. Also the entry costs vary by age.

Montreal Museum of Fine Arts

Montreal’s most prestigious museum has been building its collection of fine arts for more than a century. Feast your eyes on an impressive assortment of Canadian and international works, including pieces by such renowned artists as Rembrandt, El Greco, Renoir, Cézanne and Picasso. Jean-Talon Market

In a world dominated by overly refrigerated, fluorescently lit supermarkets, the Jean-Talon Market is literally a breath of fresh air and one of the largest public markets in North America. Located a block or so off Boulevard Saint-Laurent (accessible from the Blue Line’s De Castelnaumetro station), this open-air market entices with the aromas of grilled sausages, Quebecois cheeses, mounds of fresh produce, home-grown spices and handmade chocolates. Even if you’re not looking to buy, recent visitors recommend that you take a stroll through the market to meet and mingle with Montrealers.

Montreal Biodome

Housed in the former Olympic bicycle-racing stadium, the Montreal Biodome is home to four distinct ecosystems: a polar environment; a tropical rainforest, a Laurentian forest and the St. Lawrence marine setting. While strolling around the large dome, you will feel the changes in temperature and be kept company by some of the critters that inhabit these environments, including monkeys and capybaras (bats, fish, puffins and penguins are kept behind glass). Recent visitors said a trip to the Biodome is a must-do for any nature lover, and younger visitors will appreciate the Natural game room.

Also,any Montreal tourist attraction in the winter is equally as superb as in the summer with, although the cold and snows might mean that there will be less hangouts at the parks and less of nightclubbing or nightlife. So to experience a feeling of the Montreal winter wonderland head to Mont tremblant to rent a cabin and have the fullest of time.
